We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team and provide critical support across a range of projects within our PMO function. This role is ideal for a candidate with demonstrated experience in program or change management, particularly within financial services, and a strong understanding of operational risk and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project support across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and delivery methodologies.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of change initiatives across business units.
- Support program governance through risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Liaise with risk, compliance, and assurance teams to ensure alignment with internal frameworks.
- Assist in the deployment and use of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as IBM OpenPages or similar tools.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in PMO, change management, or program management roles within a financial services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of operational risk frameworks and internal control processes.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory objectives relevant to the financial services sector.
