The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighborhood that we love. Since opening our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve focused on more than just offering a bed for the night. We aim to provide style without sacrificing good value, creating a space where guests can mingle with locals and immerse themselves in the neighborhood through vibrant, welcoming public areas.

We are seeking an ambitious Director of MICE & Entertainment to join the Sales team at Ennismore on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This exciting role involves managing and executing global MICE sales strategies across our portfolio of Hoxton Hotels. Based in London and reporting to the VP of Sales, this position will drive global strategies and support our 18 operating Hoxton Hotels, along with our ambitious pipeline of new openings. We are eager to grow the Hoxton brand and attract new customers in emerging markets, and we seek a candidate passionate about sales who can contribute to this journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to generate revenue across MICE & Entertainment segments globally, monitoring results, and adjusting strategies to meet targets
  • Managing a designated portfolio of accounts, leading negotiations, implementing preferred agreements, and maximizing market share
  • Prospecting new accounts to support global expansion
  • Representing The Hoxton at international tradeshows
  • Promoting our opening pipeline and driving revenue for successful launches
  • Collaborating with on-property sales, brand, revenue, and hotel operations teams to share insights and drive revenue

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years in a senior sales role
  • Experience in MICE is essential; experience with consortia is preferred
  • Passionate about hotel sales and goal-oriented
  • Excellent relationship builder, confident in cross-team collaboration
