As a Heating Engineer, you will organise and carry out the design, installation, maintenance, servicing and repair work for our housing stock. While delivering an efficient and customer-focused service, you will coordinate the services of other trades to ensure a seamless service to tenants. You will also ensure services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
Our ideal Heating Engineer is motivated with a positive attitude. You must have extensive experience of gas servicing, boiler repairs, and breakdowns with a proven ability to service, maintain, install & repair, and fault-find gas heating systems, hot water systems, and carry out heating works such as alterations to wet systems, DHW cylinders & gas pipework, in NCHA managed properties. You will also have experience in fault-finding on all makes of gas appliances.

- Essential Requirements for the role:
- NVQ or equivalent qualification
- Current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT
- G3 certificate in unvented hot water systems
- WRAS water regulations certificate of competence
- Part L energy efficiency practitioner
Due to the nature of the role, you must have a valid driving licence and you will also be required to undertake stand-by call-out duties for emergency breakdowns. You will receive additional payment for call out.
