As our clients are expanding rapidly across the globe, they are looking for passionate Graduate Cyber Security Engineers to join their technical Operations department. The Infrastructure Support team is responsible for monitoring and maintaining clients' infrastructure to ensure their customers, many of whom run critical national services, are provided with a high level of service, as well as deploying new infrastructure and services, with a focus on continual improvement of both practice and process. The team pride themselves on preventing, identifying, actioning and resolving potential issues before they affect our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proactively monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving alerts to identify and prevent service disruption for our clients, globally.
  • Responsible for identifying, assessing and technically resolving platform vulnerabilities to remediate issues and ensure full security accreditation is maintained.
  • Sourcing, implementing and utilising new and industry-leading tools such as Splunk, VEEAM, Puppet and SentryOne to ensure that the business continues to function at the bleeding edge of the industry.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively facilitate business targets.
  • Act as an escalation for first and second-line teams.
  • Be a rotational part of an escalations matrix for out-of-hour first and second-line teams.

Experience Required

  • 2:1 Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a STEM subject. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Keen interest in expanding knowledge of technologies such as SQL, Powershell, Linux, Windows, Python, etc.
  • Good ability to concisely communicate to various audiences.
  • Ability to ensure that security and the customer experience are at the forefront of all actions on the platform.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication.
  • An eagerness to learn and develop within AI, Machine Learning, NLP, IoT, SaaS, Cloud, New tech, solutions and applications.
