In this role you will help us to succeed by:
- Compliance Health and Safety
- Ensure that the production and surrounding areas are at the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Comply with and promote within-the-line full compliance with all Company and Health and Safety Regulations and procedures.
- Ensure that the Packhouse is free from rubbish and tidy and compliant with Food Hygiene and HAACP requirements.
- Comply with all Company Environmental Objectives.
- Quality Standards
- Ensure all products are packed to required quality standards (to customer specifications).
- Ensure all products are delivered in full and on time.
- Escalate important issues or concerns about Service Levels to the Production Supervisor.
- Escalate all issues and roadblocks that prevent working practices to the Production Supervisor.
- Analysis of OPS KPI data and understand how to use data to drive Opportunity and Ci Activities forward in line with strategy OGSM - support Supervisors.
- Systems and Software
- Undertake basic SAP operations, including data input, editing and reporting where required.
- SAP & KPI supporting Databases as required (MIMO).
- People
- Team members are led and managed effectively to optimise line efficiency.
- Operative duties fulfil daily requirements and carry out tasks fully.
- Operatives fill out and complete time sheets correctly and that these are submitted on time.
- Engage in personal development programmes if required/offered.
- Production Yields
- Ensure that all stock is always fully accounted for and traceable through all processes back to origin.
- Ensure an excellent understanding of what performance indicators are being driven from and exceed and find solutions if not achieving.
- Record Line SIC.
- Complete all production and operative records and documentation correctly and on time.
- Machinery
- Ensure excellence in machine changeover (SMED).
- Carry out basic machinery maintenance.
- Carry out Machinery inspections as required: Daily/Weekly/Monthly.
