My client is a well-established, family-owned civil engineering contractor with over 50 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. They deliver projects across numerous sectors including general civils, groundworks, and demolition. They are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measure and estimate accurately and efficiently.
- Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates, and cost plans.
- Control cost and maximise value.
- Mitigate risk using correct contractual procedures.
- Produce accurate monthly valuations on time.
- Assess, value, and process labour and subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes promptly.
- Manage workforce and client for the project.
- Achieve best cashflow and variance analysis.
- Produce Monthly CVR's.
- Report on opportunities, risk, and performance of the project.
