We are a well-established multi-disciplined practice providing consultancy services across both the public and private sectors.

Established in 1954, we have our office in Sidcup. We are currently recruiting to supply our recent success on major frameworks within London and the South East of England. We have strong links to Local Authorities, County Councils, and Housing Associations and have a robust reputation in successfully delivering projects in these areas.

We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the Building Surveying Team at our Sidcup office during this exciting time in working with new clients on interesting projects. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts, and be able to undertake the Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis, and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications. Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, AutoCAD proficiency, and CDM regulations would be an advantage.

The Candidate

The candidate will ideally be qualified to MRICS. They should have good communication, management, and team-working skills and be capable of working on their own initiative. A full clean driving licence and use of their own, road-legal vehicle is required.

Salary packages will be offered to suit the candidate's experience. There is also an opportunity within the Practice for future career progression. Should you wish to discuss the opportunity, please contact us for an initial chat – 020 8300 6811.

We are a leading Construction Consultancy in the Public Sector competing across London and the South East against Multi-National Firms. In addition to the salary, we offer company benefits including:

  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Staff profit share (bonus) scheme

We will provide all new employees with either a fixed workstation or a laptop and will work with them to ensure a suitable working from home setup is in place, should this be required.

The practice arranges regular social events throughout the year including Summer and Christmas events and encourages participation in regular Charity challenges. The practice is proud to have a great working environment and excellent staff retention.

The practice is renowned for:

  • Commitment to the training of staff, with this role supported by CPDs provided to the individual where required.
