We are proud to be working with a UK market leader in precision manufacturing and are currently looking for multiple CNC Machine Operators to work with them in their Basildon site.
Responsibilities:
- Loading materials and unloading finished products
- Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as required – adjusting speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
- Carefully following procedures and safety guidelines, including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
- Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs; conducting machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
- Ensuring machines are well stocked with tools and material to minimize downtime
- Maintaining a safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
- Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
- Working appropriately with team members
Requirements:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
- Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
