The predicted salary is between 25000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are proud to be working with a UK market leader in precision manufacturing and are currently looking for multiple CNC Machine Operators to work with them in their Basildon site.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading materials and unloading finished products
  • Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as required – adjusting speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
  • Carefully following procedures and safety guidelines, including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
  • Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs; conducting machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
  • Ensuring machines are well stocked with tools and material to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining a safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
  • Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
  • Working appropriately with team members

Requirements:

  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
  • Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
