About the Role: Raytheon UK are hiring Production Associates, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Glenrothes site, with travel to our Livingston site when needed. It is expected these roles will be working Day Shift or Night Shift - totalling 37 or 36.5 hours per week across Mon - Fri (specific hours and shift options will be confirmed with your recruiter and at interview). We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Main Duties:
- To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.
- Tasks may include:
- Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- Mechanical and wiring assembly
- Kit preparation
- Bonding and coating
- Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar environment / role
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
Desirable:
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
