An exciting vacancy has arisen within our Maintenance team for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified in a relevant mechanical discipline.
- Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment.
- Able to read and follow mechanical drawings.
- Competent with bench and machine fitting.
- A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Competent with lifting/slinging.
- Capable of working unsupervised when required - alone or as part of the team.
- PC literate.
- Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential).
- FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential).
- IPAF license to drive MEWPβs i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential).
- Current driving license.
* Please note this role is being offered on permanent Double Day shifts.
