We are looking for a new team member to join our state-of-the-art Student Accommodation in Lincoln! If you enjoy solving problems, engaging actively, and want a role where no two days are the same, keep reading. At Yugo, we pride ourselves on creating positive spaces for students to thrive.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property both inside and out, including communal areas, performing repairs, maintenance, and minor redecorations as needed.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the community is well-maintained, presented, and functional at all times.
- Keep residents safe and secure.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks, assist with specialist contractors.
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas and manage waste and recycling.
- Conduct health and safety checks, including fire safety, risk assessments, and legionella testing.
- Adhere to health and safety responsibilities as per the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Your main responsibility is to ensure the property's appearance and functionality meet high standards for residents. Ideal candidates will have some experience in maintenance, security, or facilities management, with a proactive problem-solving approach. A relevant trade qualification is advantageous but not essential.
