Job Description:
- Salary £20.21p/h basic

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)
Major Job Functions:
- Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical distribution systems and associated equipment/lighting systems.
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
- Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's manuals to complete projects.
- Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.
Specific Skills:
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Effective problem-solving with strong analytical skills
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding and extensive experience of electrical systems
Accountability:
- Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic), in compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electric code, and NICEIC requirements.
Education and Experience:
- CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
- NVQ Level 3
- Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
- Full UK driver's license
- Fire alarm installation experience
- Containment installation experience (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit)
Desirable qualifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SMSTS or SSSTS training.
