We are looking for a Technical Sales & Support Engineer to assist customers with RF & microwave solutions while driving new business opportunities across the UK and Ireland. This role involves working with clients in defence, aerospace, satellite communications, scientific research, and industrial sectors, providing both technical expertise and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support to customers on RF & microwave products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations
- Work alongside engineering and sales teams to create tailored solutions
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and on-site meetings to promote products
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and quotations
Skills & Experience
- Background in RF, microwave, or electronics engineering
- Understanding of RF components, systems, or telecom infrastructure (DAS, RAN, amplifiers, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Self-motivated and comfortable with travel and independent work
- HNC/HND/Degree in a STEM subject or relevant industry experience
- UK resident with a valid driving licence (own transport beneficial)
