Working Schedule: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Major Job Functions:

  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
  • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's manuals to complete projects.
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools; terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.

  • Work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge: Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems.

Accountability: Work on industrial and commercial projects in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Test & inspection 2394/2395 (formerly 2391)
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Experience in fire alarm installation
  • Containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanized conduit)

Desirable qualifications: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, First aid, ContEx, SMSTS or SSSTS.
