Brokerage Operations, as part of the Fund Dealing & Brokerage Capability, is responsible for asset servicing and administration of Brokerage holdings on Fidelity’s Retail Investment Platform. Functional responsibilities are split into five areas:

  • Trade Operations for trade & settlement;
  • Corporate Actions for corporate events and dividends;
  • Stock Deposits for the transfer of certificated holdings;
  • Stock Plan Services (SPS) for activities and processing related to employee share incentive scheme operations;
  • Controls for oversight of regulatory reporting and other controls across the team.

This Senior Associate/Process Specialist role will focus on the support of Stock Plan Services but will be expected to work across more than one team. It requires the role holder to become a Subject Matter Expert and key contact across Operations for SPS while supporting other teams as needed. This will be achieved by gaining a detailed knowledge of Fidelity’s offering and its impact on the Brokerage team and other Operational areas, as well as assuming responsibility for daily BAU activities such as:

  • Completing daily controls via reports and other checks in accordance with procedures;
  • Assisting SMEs across operations with SPS queries and actively raising awareness through training and informational sessions;
  • Managing and supporting operational readiness tasks for share plan award distributions;
  • Working closely with all SPS Product owners, supporting award distributions and settlement processes;
  • Working with customer support teams at Fidelity Investments to provide a seamless customer experience across companies.
