We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for works across Dorset, Hampshire, and Sussex for a well-established and leading regional civil engineering contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple contracts from inception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and the identification of new business opportunities.
  • Manage project costs, resources, and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and variations, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
  • Resolve any contractual or technical issues in a proactive and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager within the residential sector only.
  • A clear understanding of budget control and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge regarding the NHBC Regulations.
  • A strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • A full UK driving licence.

We will require a CV in the first instance. Salary and package is negotiable.
