We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for works across Dorset, Hampshire, and Sussex for a well-establihsed and leading regional civil engineering contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage multiple contracts from inception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
– Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
– Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and the identification of new business opportunities.
– Manage project costs, resources, and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
– Review and negotiate contracts and variations, ensuring the company\’s interests are protected.
– Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned. * Resolve any contractual or technical issues in a proactive and efficient manner.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in a Contracts Manager within the residential sector only
– A clear understanding of budget control and contract administration.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Knowledge Regarding the NHBC Regulations.
– A strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
– Full understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
– A relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management
– A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
– A full UK driving licence.
