This is a permanent position, potentially transitioning from temporary to permanent, involving work away from home within a team, primarily starting from the client's base near Stoke-on-Trent. Accommodation and breakfast are provided and paid by the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with erecting structural steel work and frameworks, including drilling, fixing, and working at heights.
- Carry out mechanical fitting and steel erection using hand and power tools on ground and at heights.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card and IPAF 3a & 3b licenses or similar.
- Experience with steel framework assembly, rigging, erecting, and reading general arrangement drawings.
- Additional useful qualifications: Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheels.
Licenses
- Must hold Scissor Lift, Cherry Picker, MEWP, PAL, IPAF licenses for operating Scissor and Boom vehicles.
Compensation
Rate of £18.00 CIS/Umbrella/Ltd or £15.00 PAYE for an 8-hour day.
