We are looking for a talented Production Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for Cummins in Darlington. Working 37.5 hours per week across a 3 shift pattern rotation:
- Nights: Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm - 6.00am
- Days: Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm
- Backs: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Friday 2.00pm - 7.10pm
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operate manual and automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and reporting hazards.
- Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with standard work processes.
- Maintain production goals while ensuring high-quality output.
- Work collaboratively with peers and support teams to identify and address equipment issues.
- Engage in continuous learning and participate in HSE and skills development training.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
- Support process improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
