An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock Garden Centre to be part of an inspirational team as a Gift Department Assistant.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Full-time shift including working every other weekend and a day off in the week.
Gifts Department Assistant Responsibilities
- Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
- Experience in merchandising would be an advantage.
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
- Working to deadlines and managing time effectively
- Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
- Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensuring personal compliance with Whitehalls H&S guidelines
- Packing goods professionally, taking care not to damage items
- Maintaining a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers, and third parties
- Ensuring trolleys and baskets are always available
- Assisting in booking stock deliveries, stocking, and pricing with attention to detail and accuracy
