Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement and Contracts Manager who wants to bring their skills and experience to one of the largest hospice groups in the country. As the Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all contracts comply with legal and organizational standards. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes and contributing to strategic business goals. This is a role that requires great negotiation skills, a personable approachable manner and a keen eye for commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process across all three of our hospices and our domiciliary care agency, develop and manage procurement policies, procedures, and best practices and oversee contract negotiations, drafting, and management to ensure value for money and risk mitigation.
Essential criteria:
You will have proven experience in procurement and contract management and ideally some experience of the wider healthcare sector. A strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and commercial negotiation will be a must.
