If you are a Supply Chain Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Cumbernauld, Scotland location, you will analyze and improve business processes and tools to drive risk mitigation, inventory improvements, transaction elimination, and increased Supply Chain efficiency.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead Supply Chain strategic projects that improve key performance indicators
  • Assist in the development of related performance goals and objectives
  • Design, track, and report on Supply Chain key performance indicators
  • Collect and analyze data to find and recommend new opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with IT Business Analysts and Business Intelligence teams to implement effective systems and ensure Supply Chain tool and data needs are met
  • Provide support in evaluating and implementing company standard tools and processes
  • Lead or participate in business system and/or bolt-on system testing
  • Direct existing reporting catalog and develop new data extracts from the system
  • Cultivate, coordinate, and deliver subject-specific department training
  • Develop and publish documentation supporting requirements, standards, procedures, and processes

You articulate messages in a way that is broadly understandable. You focus efforts on continuous improvement and have a curiosity about identifying and seizing opportunities for alignment and integration. You can facilitate open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and collaborators.

For this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Supply Chain, Procurement (Direct and Indirect), Operations, or related experience
  • Experience with setting up and/or maintaining an effective Material Resource Planning (MRP) system
  • Understanding of, and ability to articulate, Supply Chain concepts such as Safety Stock strategies, parts classification, plan for every part, etc.
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques used in sustaining a reliable flow of materials while simultaneously optimizing and reducing inventory
  • Experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving, project management, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate sophisticated processes and concepts across different internal collaborators and proactively propose solutions

Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business-related or numerical field
  • Ability to work independently with minimal mentorship
