The Role
The opportunity has arisen for an ambitious assistant accountant to join our Club L London Finance Team, based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This role will be to fully support the busy finance department in ensuring accurate and timely management accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support in the continuous improvement of month-end processes
- Supporting with the reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
- Daily Order to Cash reconciliation on multiple payment gateways
- Invoice processing and management of Purchase Order reconciliations
- Monthly Ad-hoc tasks around management accounts
- Continuous improvements of supplier relationship management
- Support with UK and ROW tax returns
- Administration tasks surrounding the monthly Payroll
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Support on the annual financial audit
Requirements
- AAT qualified or equivalent, or willing to work towards
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and/or equivalent
- 3 years experience within a Finance role
- Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with other team members to ensure work is delivered on time
- Results driven and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
