As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician based at our site in Rawcliffe Bridge. The role involves working as part of a small multi-skilled team to perform routine maintenance procedures and help troubleshoot and quickly repair any mechanical or electrical problems with the manufacturing processes and supporting equipment and systems.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems, contributing your knowledge and valuing the knowledge of others.
  • Good written and verbal communicator, able to demonstrate an eye for detail.
  • Competence in basic IT skills such as email, web applications or other IT systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing training & development.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety, health & environmental standards.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, and a willingness to ask questions.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience of working with electronic maintenance management systems.
  • A recognised electrical or mechanical qualification at level 3 or above and some experience of working within a relevant industry sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

Day-to-day tasks can vary greatly based on priorities and require working closely with the maintenance, operations, quality, and engineering teams. The role will also involve interaction with specialised external contractors with the overall aim to allow production to operate safely and efficiently. The role is a mix of days and shift work: 4 weeks on days, 1 week 06.00 - 14.00 and 1 week 14.00 - 22.00. Working 1 weekend in 6 and on call for 1 week in 6.
