The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Key purpose of role: To be the lead on the direct delivery of Civic events and activities and to support colleagues in delivering exceptional one-off events in the District. To handle queries and requests regarding Civic event activities, maintain accurate costing records, and provide expert, coordinated advice, support, and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in the creation and delivery of Civic events. The aim is to reduce and eliminate, if possible, reputational and financial risks to the Council.
To contribute to the smooth operation of the Civic Affairs team, actively participate in team activities, deputise for the Civic Affairs Manager at events when required, make some autonomous decisions with guidance, and maintain good relationships with team members. This is a part-time role on a temporary contract basis.
