As a Warehouse Supervisor, your role is crucial to the success of the branch operation. Leading a team of General Assistants, you will drive exceptional performance and standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations, resources, and customer service, including line management of the General Assistant team.
- Ensure all warehouse areas comply with Health and Safety legislation.
- Work towards balanced performance across key business metrics and KPIs.
- Maintain branch compliance to meet standards and performance goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to build skills and capabilities.
- Conduct regular reviews to engage colleagues and support their development.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to create succession plans.
- Ensure effective recruitment to attract future talent.
- Deliver daily briefings to communicate key objectives and measures.
- Work approximately 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, and alternate Saturdays, 8am-4pm.
Skills And Experience
- Excellent communication skills to develop customer and colleague relationships.
- Experience leading a warehouse team with a customer-first attitude.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes.
- Understanding of P&L management and stock booking.
- Strong ability to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues.
