AviateQ International Limited (AviateQ), established in 2003, provides high-quality specialist aviation advice and support to its customers globally. AviateQ, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK, is recruiting 2 licensed aircraft engineers, one full-time and one part-time, as Aviation Auditor Advisors to provide professional operational and technical advice to its customers, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective use of aircraft, aviation support facilities, equipment and personnel.
As experts in their field contributing to setting the highest of safety standards in aviation, AviateQ's Aviation Auditor Advisors require a sound understanding of aviation legislative requirements as well as current experience and technical knowledge relevant to the role covering Flight Operations / Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance / Safety, Quality, Compliance, Security and Environmental Management Systems.
Cultural awareness, valuing differences, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the need to manage projects and produce/deliver high quality, well-written, detailed and succinct reports and presentations and to brief at executive/management levels. Fluency in spoken and written English and PC literacy are also essential; other languages an advantage.
Applicants must have a proven and demonstrable track record of working in an EASA (or similar) approved commercial organisation or in the military, must have the right to live and work in the UK, are required to travel in support of customers and, as such, must be medically fit and willing to travel anywhere in the world (including offshore) since up to 25% of the time is spent on national / international audit and support services.
As a licenced aircraft engineer, you will have at least 10 years’ experience in the commercial aviation industry / military and an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of EASA/FAA/ICAO requirements, regulations and documentation. You will also have extensive experience specifically covering Continuing Airworthiness & Maintenance (PartM / CAMO and Part 145). Experience in Safety Management Systems is also required. Being qualified as an aviation lead auditor / accredited as an IATA - IOSA or IS-BAO auditor would be a distinct advantage.
