THE ROLE
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing revenues across the business’ expanding portfolio of events, by both bringing in new clients and deepening the relationships with existing clients.
- The Sales Manager will focus on accounts based across Europe, with the opportunity to sell throughout the entire global events portfolio.
- Sell event sponsorship and exhibition space across a growing event portfolio that includes conferences, trade shows, awards and other events spanning multiple continents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients as well as new customers.
- Building strong relationships across suppliers, operators, affiliates, associations, other associated businesses and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to growth strategy across the event portfolio by providing market intelligence and new ideas to meet the needs of our clients and partners, as well as potential business opportunities.
- Work with Sales Director to establish revenue targets across regions and translate these into actionable sales strategies.
- Work closely with internal departments.
- Contribute to the sales team growth and effort by achieving consistent and growing sales results.
- Manage the sales cycle, including sales planning, lead generation, relationship building and management, as well as sales reporting.
- Provide feedback on sales packages, sales materials and sales presentations to help the team ensure that they are continually improved and always up to date.
- Profile both new and existing customers by consistently using the CRM system, collecting and updating contact information and logging all activity, to keep it up to date and complete.
- Attend and represent the company at events and exhibitions across Europe and Americas.
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates should have similar sales experience gained from working within a commercial event organiser at a senior level. Candidates must have a proven background of B2B sales and/or account management. You must be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of hitting targets consistently!
