About the Role: As an Installation & Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top quality service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, such as street lighting, traffic signals, or ITS street furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, comply with legal requirements, and use appropriate PPE.
  • Operations: Install and calibrate new equipment, perform maintenance, and provide technical support.
  • Communications: Maintain clear communication with team members and clients, and participate in department meetings.
  • Business Management System: Adhere to company standards and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.

What We’re Looking For as the Installation & Maintenance Engineer:

Qualifications required: HNC or ONC in electronic engineering, apprentice electrician trained to 17th Edition, CSCS, HEA, HERS Registration cards, and Highways Passport Card. (Don’t worry if you don’t have all qualifications)!

Experience: Proven experience in an Installation & Maintenance Engineer based role, working on street lighting, traffic signals, ITS street furniture, or similar equipment.

Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities, excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office), and a good standard of written and spoken English.

Personal Attributes: Team player, problem-solver, enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work at height (IPAF training preferred).
