RECfinancial are working in partnership with a well-established business to recruit a Bank Reconciliation Clerk to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Main role of Reconciliation Clerk
As a Bank Reconciliation Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. You’ll be responsible for reconciling bank statements with internal systems, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the finance team with general accounting duties.
Responsibilities of the Reconciliation Clerk:
- Responsible for completing Balance Sheets Reconciliations.
- Monthly bank reconciliations including Group reconciliation.
- IF Reconciliations (training required).
- Analysis of stock management.
- Barclaycard analysis and accruals/journals.
- Bank transfers/movements.
- Daily bank statement updates.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Accruals and bank reconciliations with various accounts.
- Support the Financial Controller and wider Finance Team.
- Check and review all bank reconciliations to produce accurate and timely reporting for month end.
Skills and experience:
- Desirable to have experience in a similar role.
- Excellent team player, to provide support when needed.
- Good time management, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
