The Role
- Analyse Material Requirement Planning and issues purchase orders
- Proactively expedite the timely delivery of goods and services
- Progress and check order acknowledgements
- Maintain accurate system data for suppliers, lead time, pricing, batch sizes and cost process fields for new items
- Support cost reduction strategy
- Maintain a risk assessment of key suppliers
- Ensure Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is amended for any variation against standard costs
- Liaise with production planning
Requirements
- 2 years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience within an engineering, manufacturing and distribution operations in an industrial environment
- Experience working with a Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system or an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Package
- 32K, 25 days holiday
- Possibility of contract extension or becoming permanent
