As a Grounds Maintenance Technician at JLL, you will play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our client Rolls-Royce by maintaining beautiful and functional outdoor spaces across various properties. In this position, you will be part of a collaborative team that embraces innovative ways of working to deliver exceptional results. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming
- Maintain flower beds, trees, and shrubs through pruning, planting, and fertilising
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools
- Implement and maintain irrigation systems suitable for the UK climate
- Conduct basic hardscape maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitor and report on landscape health, pest issues, and potential hazards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintenance work on sports pitches, including grass tennis courts
- Assist with room and event setups in main pavilion
Required Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Proficiency in operating UK-standard landscaping equipment and tools
- Knowledge of British horticultural practices and plant
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
