The predicted salary is between 22400 - 33600 £ per year.

Provision Children Home for 7 to 17 year olds, EBD and one LD, 2 to 4 Bed depending on home/location.

Location: Durham

Salary: up to £28,000

As a residential support worker, you will nurture and support the children and young people in your care, handling all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. You will have a passion for helping vulnerable young people achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential. No two days are the same working in Residential Care for Children. If you enjoy working with children and possess the resilience to work with challenging behaviours, with a nurturing and supportive approach, we want to hear from you!

Full induction, training, and support are provided by the provider's in-house learning and development team, including the QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care.
  • Lead, demonstrate, and share best practices with other practitioners in your home, working closely with Psychologists and the specialist therapeutic services team.
  • Handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally.
  • Work shifts including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties.
  • Possess a full driving license.
  • Minimum age 21.
