Join the team at Highland Print Studio, an open-access printmaking studio and photographic printing suite in Inverness. We are hiring for the position of Technician.
Role Overview
The Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth, safe, and effective operation of the Studio environment. You will implement maintenance and improvement initiatives aligned with the company's aims, objectives, and Artistic Policies. The role focuses on managing the technical aspects of the studio to maintain high standards of functionality and safety, while fostering an environment conducive to artistic innovation and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the studio's technical needs.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are well-maintained and upgraded as necessary.
- Contribute to the studio's continuous improvement.
- Support building operations, sustainability, and health & safety initiatives.
Salary and Hours
Salary: Highland Council Grade 5 - £27,554.80 – £30,175.60 FTE
Hours: 21 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
