MDE Group UK LTD are recruiting for an HGV Technician/Mechanic to join our established client's growing team based in Newport. You will ideally come from a time-served HGV Technician/Mechanic background with industry-relative qualification and experience, or demonstrable experience. We are looking for 2 years of experience.
Job Description
- Carry out routine inspections, using R2C workshop management.
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standards.
- Carry out a wide range of defect repairs, from replacing bulbs to brake discs and pads or complete engine rebuilds.
- Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers' computer systems and tooling.
- Experience in identifying and rectifying electrical issues.
- Complete job cards and maintenance sheets accurately and promptly.
- Be flexible and capable of multi-skilling in working hours.
Requirements
- Diagnostics and electrical experience can lead to higher paygrade.
- Valid driver's license required.
- HGV C+E license preferred.
- Industry-recognized qualification or equivalent experience.
