Operative Level 1 (City Centre)

This role is essential in the day-to-day cleansing of a busy City Centre covering 7 days a week to maintain the standards expected.

Successful candidates will be part of a small team of 6 operatives. You will be working on a rota of 5 out of 7 days, which will include allocated weekends.

The job involves completing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks, such aslitter-picking, bin-emptying, toilet cleansing and other general cleansing tasks at St. Martin’s Gate Car Park and within the City Centre.

Applicants must feel confident to complete all duties, be able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Training will be given to enable you to fully complete the role.

We are looking for a person with excellent customer care skills who enjoys a challenge. Someone who can fit into a team of people or work alone competently and confidently.Applicants must be committed to the service and strive to provide a high level of service standards to the people of Worcester.

Experience of carrying out a wide variety of street cleansing duties. The ability to work unsupervised and carry out required tasks to a high standard. Great team working and communication skills are essential.
