We are seeking a Full-Time Support Worker/Carer dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in our residential home.

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE4)

Hours: 40 hours per week, including day and night shifts.

The Role:

  • Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower individuals to achieve their goals, respecting their individuality and supporting their choices.
  • Promote health, well-being, and cultural and spiritual beliefs in an inclusive manner.
  • Facilitate social, educational, and recreational activities, including visits, walks, shopping, and other interests.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including shopping, domestic tasks, and personal care.
  • Complete necessary records and documentation accurately.

About The Service

Lynnwood Avenue - Swanton Care is a 4-bedroom care home in Newcastle, providing tailored support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including emotional support. Located near a country park and amenities, with excellent transport links to Newcastle City Center.

We support up to 4 adults, empowering them to live as independently as possible. The residence features communal spaces, including TV lounges, a life skills kitchen, sensory and activity rooms, and accessible facilities.
