Maths and English Tutor

Location: East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 – £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths and English lessons to students
• Assess students\’ learning needs and develop tailored teaching strategies
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress
• Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Mathematics, English, or a related field

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor\’s degree in Mathematics, English, or a related field

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience teaching maths and English
• Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of the national curriculum for maths and English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in tutoring or mentoring students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
