We are currently looking for 2 x Maintenance Electricians to join a leading UK manufacturer. This role involves working Monday to Sunday shifts and offers a salary of circa £50,000, along with excellent benefits such as a pension scheme of up to 5%, overtime pay (x1.5/x2), and opportunities for training and career development within a company that values its employees.

Key responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:

  • Providing plant-wide electrical maintenance, departmental support, and repairs on machinery such as inverters, motors, conveyor systems, panels, PLCs, and automation equipment.
  • Participating in a variety of maintenance operations and projects, supported by extensive training programs, including accredited courses.
  • Working within a skilled team of engineers.
  • Performing PPM and reactive maintenance on industrial production machinery.

Experience and Qualifications Required for a Maintenance Electrician:

  • Engineering qualification via a full Advanced Electrical Apprenticeship (Level 3) or NVQ Level 3 and BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering—UK equivalent qualifications to Level 3.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, undertaking PPM and TPM activities.
  • Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong fault-finding skills, repair capabilities, and problem-solving in electrical systems.
