Location and Work Details: Opportunities available in Bradford, Leeds, Hull, and York areas. Must be willing to travel across Yorkshire. Full-time, 37 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm. Occasional out-of-hours/weekend work required.
Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring high-quality water supply through planned interventions, network asset inspections, and reducing water discolouration issues. Play a key role in delivering water quality commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned flushing and sampling activities, deploying data loggers before and after activities.
- Record and adjust activities based on unforeseen issues.
- Capture data on sediment removal.
- Undertake risk assessments for flushing activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Understanding of potable water distribution network assets.
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Knowledge of water hydraulics and numerical data handling.
- Pragmatic with flexibility to amend plans.
- Water hygiene principles knowledge preferred; full training provided.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
