We are a local butcher with a nationwide supply network, with depots based in London and Edinburgh. This role involves:

• Supporting butchers by preparing orders according to customer requirements
• Working in a fast-paced environment alone or with team members
• Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and increase earning potential
• Working in a chilled environment for extended periods; uniform and PPE provided

Role responsibilities:

• Operating packing machines
• Packing products per business and customer specifications
• Preparing products for butchers
• Stacking and wrapping pallets for shipment
• Checking quality to reduce waste and errors
• Adhering to food hygiene and health and safety policies
• Assisting management as needed

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in warehousing, preferably with fresh or chilled produce
• Good time management, punctuality, and reliability
• Accuracy and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in English
• Positive attitude, teamwork, flexibility, willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently, enthusiasm, self-motivation
