Farm in Shetland looking for an ambitious farm manager with a view to profit share and partnership. Circa 1000 acres plus substantial hill grazing, currently 800 ewes and 35 breeding cows. The farm is organic, in Agri-environment schemes, QMS and carries out conservation grazing. There is potential for expansion.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have working dogs
  • Have hill farm experience
  • Have all necessary animal welfare, lambing, calving and shearing experience
  • Be a problem solver
  • Be able to manage other staff
  • Be able to carry out basic maintenance of farm equipment
  • Be able to maintain farm records

Accommodation is available. An attractive overall package is available for the right candidate, with remuneration negotiable depending upon experience.
