Our client is a global leader in offshore wind energy, specializing in the development, construction, and operation of offshore wind farms. The company focuses on harnessing wind power to provide renewable electricity at scale, contributing to the global transition to sustainable energy. They operate some of the worldβs largest offshore wind farms, mainly in Europe, North America, and Asia.
The Equipment Integration Lead is responsible for the integration topics within the ITB Equipment team, setting objectives, and driving team performance regarding design maturity and configuration management. The role also offers support and technical direction for complex and cross-cutting topics. Specifically, the responsibilities include:
- Act as an ambassador for ITBE to drive design maturity and stability, challenging technical impacts of open points and design changes.
- Ensure resolution of cross-functional technical issues, including OP, UKDC, and IDT, by coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders between building/system contracts.
- Report to Control Tower/EMM on yearly design maturity and stability objectives, escalating topics requiring support.
- Lead and manage the OP coordinator network within ITBE.
- Act as Level 2 Open Point Coordinator for ITBE scope, attending coordination meetings and validating status in OPM for Level 2 OPs.
- Lead decision-making on L2 OPs that do not require arbitration in governance committees or advise on appropriate governance channels.
- Maintain and report on OPEX, OP, PHOP, and DC (TDI) progress through KPI dashboards.
- Share and promote good practices regarding integration and configuration management across ITBx entities.
- Lead and manage the Mods Coordinator network within ITBE.
- Facilitate the UKDC process implementation for ITBE, especially regarding impact analyses and maturity assurance.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Experience in senior engineering, leadership, or project management roles.
- Extensive knowledge of design and engineering processes.
- Understanding of UK laws, regulations, nuclear industry practices, and operating experience.
- Leadership experience in a highly regulated, technical environment.
- Ability to set objectives, drive team performance, and report to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
