To join a growing engineering service business as a leading supplier of generators and critical power equipment. The role will play a key part in supporting the service team by preparing accurate and timely quotations for remedial works, such as generator repairs and servicing, identified during routine maintenance visits.

The ideal candidate will come from a technical or engineering background, with experience in creating detailed quotes, interpreting service reports, and liaising directly with customers to ensure a clear understanding of the proposed solutions.

Package:

£30,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension, Company bonus.

Role:
  • Prepare and issue technical quotations for generator repairs and service follow-ups.
  • Liaise with service engineers to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
  • Support field teams by turning engineering reports into clear, accurate customer proposals.
  • Follow up on quotes and maintain regular communication with customers to support conversion.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of service contracts and repairs.

Commutable to office in Portsmouth.

Requirements:
  • Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Technical Advisor / or similar technical sales / engineering sales experience.
  • A good understanding of engineering, ideally within mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing, commercial, or technical support role.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
