OBM are currently recruiting for an Ad-Hoc Driver to support our clients' Ships Agency operations, in Aberdeen. This position is available to candidates who are available on a flexible/ad-hoc basis with no guaranteed hours of work. Work is offered and allocated on a first come, first served basis to the pool of approved ad-hoc drivers.
Applicants must hold a full, clean, UK driving licence with reasonable knowledge of Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Previous experience of driving in a professional capacity preferred but not essential.
Main duties include:
- Driving a small minibus to transfer vessel crew to various sites across Aberdeen, most commonly from Aberdeen Harbour/City Centre to Aberdeen Airport/Heliport.
- Longer distance journeys may also be required to Peterhead and Montrose for transfer of crew.
- Delivery of freight or small parcels both locally and further afield (mainly West Coast) may also be required.
Please note that the pick-up and drop-off point for company vehicles is situated in the Altens area of Aberdeen. Consideration should therefore be given to commuting ability prior to applying for this role.
