Hours: 60-65 hours/week

Term: 1-2 months

PAYE Rate:

  • Mon-Fri All Hours: £26.78/hr + £3.23/hr Hol pay = £30.00/hr
  • Sat All Hours: £35.70/hr + £4.30/hr Hol pay = £40.00/hr
  • Lodge - £60.00/night

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Site Coordinator to oversee operations on a large-scale construction project on a power station in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in issuing and closing permits, equipment checks, and managing site paperwork, ensuring all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Issue and close permits, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct equipment checks to maintain site safety and efficiency.
  • Manage site documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date.
  • Enforce site health and safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site operatives.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractors to ensure work meets project standards.
  • Carry out the weekly inspections and support the teams.
  • Must be organized and able to produce reports under our instructions.

Requirements:

  • CSCS card
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certificate
  • Temporary Works Supervisor certificate
  • Proven experience in issuing and closing permits.
  • Power station site experience
  • Strong knowledge of equipment checks and site safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with experience managing site paperwork.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high safety standards.
