At Connect it Utility Services we’re fully focused on delivering exceptional multi-utility solutions across the UK – and we’re growing fast. As we expand our Project Delivery Department, we’re looking for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to help us keep things running smoothly.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be working alongside an experienced Technical Manager and a dedicated Project Team to coordinate the delivery of projects from concept to completion, coordinating various tasks, ensuring effective delivery of our multi-utility operations. Your role will be key, working closely with clients, external and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient production and approval of utility designs and that projects stay on track.
Key skills:
- Deliver a high standard of customer service ensuring the Connect it brand is maintained.
- Assist the Project Team to manage a portfolio of Gas, Water, Electric, and Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC) projects, ensuring smooth progression from initial concept to delivery.
- Provide progress updates to the Project Team.
- Support with generating, maintaining and delivery of an efficient programme of works.
- Liaise with clients to obtain information, maintain communication, drive project progress, and address client needs.
- Work closely with the Design Team to ensure timely production of designs that meet client specifications.
- Facilitate effective handovers with stakeholders to support autonomous delivery.
- Engage with Utility Companies and stakeholders to obtain permissions for connections and address engineering challenges.
- Identify any potential problems and offer advice to rectify problems or have the knowledge to seek the correct solution from another source.
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong administrative and IT skills, with familiarity using database and CRM systems to manage data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service ethos.
- Ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
- A strong communicator with excellent planning and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure processes run efficiently.
- A can-do attitude with the flexibility to support new tasks as the business develops.
Additional:
- Multi-Utility experience or experience in the Utility/Construction Industry.
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Customer service ethos.
- Be able to work using own initiative and as part of a small team.
- Full UK driving licence.
