Here at Hotel Chocolat, we’ve adopted hybrid working. You’ll join us on-site for three days a week, and for the other two, you can work from wherever you like! The on-site location for this role is our design studio in the heart of Shoreditch.
What you’ll be doing…
- Partnering with our Senior Manager to create packaging that not only reflects our brand but tells a compelling, creative story that resonates with our customers.
- Generating innovative and impactful concepts that make our products feel fresh, bold, and unmistakably Hotel Chocolat.
- Presenting your ideas clearly and confidently, ensuring that they align with our brand values and commercial objectives.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to bring your concepts to life.
- Supporting the development and rollout of new ranges, limited editions, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Who you are…
- A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to tell compelling stories through packaging design.
- Proven experience creating strong, innovative concepts for luxury brands or retailers.
- Expertise in range architecture and executing cohesive packaging ranges.
- Highly trend-aware, with a deep understanding of contemporary design trends and consumer insights.
- The ability to manage multiple projects autonomously while maintaining creativity and quality.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite CC, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of materials, print finishes, surface graphics, and packaging print techniques.
- Experience with InDesign, Adobe Dimensions, and 3D rendering software.
- A graphic design degree or a degree in a related creative discipline.
- A strong range of work for premium to luxury brands that demonstrates your creative flair and storytelling ability.
