Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will require travel to client sites across the UK and in the South East.

Your future duties and responsibilities

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work directly with RAF clients and key stakeholders across the Defence sector. You'll be advising on the status and risks associated with current and future digital programmes, helping to shape services that deliver real operational impact and Information Advantage to the UK's Armed Forces. You'll work at the heart of strategic decision-making for Defence's digital evolution - with the backing of CGI's experienced, mission-focused teams.

What You'll Bring

  • Engage with stakeholders across CGI and RAF.
  • Conduct analysis of defence information systems and digital services.
  • Identify and assess operational risks and business challenges.
  • Define and document system and process improvement requirements.
  • Contribute to the delivery of digital programmes with real-world Defence impact.
  • Provide thought leadership on evolving Air and Space capability needs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • 10+ years of active-duty experience within the RAF or UK Space Command, or relevant MOD roles.
  • Operational experience at Formation (FE) and Operational HQ level.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver operational outputs at a mid to senior rank.
  • Deep knowledge of current Defence programmes and capability roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex problems and systems.
