Service Advisor position in Dorchester

We are working with a main car dealership actively seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring customers are informed of necessary service and repair work in a professional manner
• Advising on estimated costs and repair times
• Selling additional products as appropriate
• Managing timescales and collection arrangements
• Producing job cards using the in-house computer system
• Updating customer and vehicle records
• Documenting warranty work per manufacturer policy
• Preparing and completing invoices

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a motor garage
• Full driving licence

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong rapport-building abilities, and confidence in up-selling opportunities. You will ensure high standards of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and the public.
