Hays Recruitment is seeking a Solar PV Manager to manage and develop our client's solar business. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar PV industry and possess the necessary qualifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with Site Teams: Coordinate with site teams for any booked solar works, including the installation of solar panels or inverters.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Work with third-party subcontractors for battery installations when required.
  • Material Preparation and Supervision: Prepare and supervise materials for delivery.
  • Ordering Equipment: Order solar panels, inverters, and ancillary items.
  • Documentation: Produce Solar PV handover packs and generate MCS certificates.
  • Audit Management: Liaise and manage MCS audits.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • BPEC Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems.
  • City & Guilds 2922-34 accepted (willing to upskill to BPEC Level 3 for auditing and signing off).
