Hays Recruitment is seeking a Solar PV Manager to manage and develop our client's solar business. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar PV industry and possess the necessary qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Site Teams: Coordinate with site teams for any booked solar works, including the installation of solar panels or inverters.
- Third-Party Coordination: Work with third-party subcontractors for battery installations when required.
- Material Preparation and Supervision: Prepare and supervise materials for delivery.
- Ordering Equipment: Order solar panels, inverters, and ancillary items.
- Documentation: Produce Solar PV handover packs and generate MCS certificates.
- Audit Management: Liaise and manage MCS audits.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- BPEC Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems.
- City & Guilds 2922-34 accepted (willing to upskill to BPEC Level 3 for auditing and signing off).
